Hi, I'm Elizabeth Cooper, a landscape ecologist, planner, designer and storyteller.

I'm happiest when roaming woods and fields, paddling on a lake or river, or digging in the dirt and planting things. And, I love to read,, tell, and listen to good stories.

I’ve always found solace in being immersed in and exploring my own landscapes of home, from an urban backyard to a rural homestead. As a young child and onward, explorations and discoveries inspired deep curiosities in me that led to studies and degrees in forestry, environmental studies, ecology, and landscape planning and design. 

Witnessing immense changes and disruptions in natural landscapes and ecosystems, and noticing a dissociation between people and the natural world, fuel my motivation to share my knowledge and experiences so others may find solace, connection, and the inspiration to protect and steward their own landscapes of home.

I'd like to work with you to learn  about your home land. Together we can listen to the land, gather clues, and develop plans for best ways to work and live with it in co-beneficial ways.
